VPN Routers

What is VPN ?

A VPN stands for a ‘Virtual Private Network’ which is a network technology that creates a secure network connection over a public network such as the Internet. VPN technology uses sophisticated encryption to give security and prevent any unintentional interception of data between private sites. All traffic over a VPN is encrypted using algorithms to secure data integrity and privacy.

Why would I want a VPN ?

Have you ever tried to view a website such as BBCiplayer and been denied access because you are in the wrong country? With a VPN you are able to select your IP address so that you are in any country you wish. If you have a Sky HD box for example you can connect the receiver to a VPN router and enjoy Sky Go, BBCiplayer, ITVplayer, Demand5 and 4onDemand directly onto your tv.

VPN Routers

VPN routers offer you the ability to share your VPN connection with any device in your home, including a Smart TV, Sky HD box, PS3, Xbox,  Apple TV and anything else that can connect to a router for Internet Connectivity. After testing various VPN’s we have now selected our Global VPN “Plug and Play” Package that is simply just that.
